Acceptance

The customer acknowledges having read the general conditions of sale and accepts each of the following provisions.

Products

The products and labels distributed and sold by GRIFFE are made exclusively in Canada. When placing an order, the customer acknowledges their acceptance of the product descriptions and prices posted on the company’s website. The customer also recognizes that there may be slight differences in the appearance, colour, design, image, and typeface of the label chosen when placing an order.

Prices

All prices posted on the company’s website are in Canadian dollars, and GRIFFE reserves the right to change them without prior notice. The prices posted at the time an order is placed will nevertheless remain in effect until the order is finalized and payment is confirmed.

Delivery

During peak demand times, such as the start of the new school year, delivery times may be ten to fifteen working days. At such times, this information will be posted on our website.

Payment

Orders are accepted only on our website and must be paid by credit card via Stripe.

Return policy

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of their order, especially of the information to be printed on their labels. GRIFFE is not liable for any errors made by the customer and will not refund the amount paid for an order containing this type of error. It is nevertheless possible to request a change in the lettering within 24 hours of placing an order.

If GRIFFE makes an error in the lettering or the number or type of labels ordered, the labels must be returned within ten days of their reception with an explanation of the correction to be made. If applicable, a new order will be given priority and shipped as quickly as possible.

Confidential information

All information provided by customers placing orders will be kept strictly confidential and never used or shared for commercial purposes. If a customer wishes to subscribe to the company’s mailing lists to be kept informed of its latest news, special offers, and promotions, they may do so when placing an order or directly on the company’s website.

Intellectual property

All images, designs, graphics, and logos on the company’s website are the exclusive property of GRIFFE and may not be reproduced, copied, recorded, used, or claimed by any entity without GRIFFE’s express permission. These intellectual property rights also extend to all visual, sound, and technological elements found on this website. Any full or partial reproduction of any part of the content of this website, on any medium whatsoever, its use, or its making available to third parties, is expressly prohibited and will be liable to prosecution and a claim for damages.

Liability

Once an on-line order is placed with GRIFFE, it is responsible for shipping a high-quality product in line with the representations made on its website. However, GRIFFE shall not be liable for any omission or negligence on the part of a third party during the processing of the order. Neither shall GRIFFE be liable in the event of force majeure.

GRIFFE shall not be liable for any inconvenience beyond its control caused by disruptions in Internet service, delivery by a third party, or a computer virus.

In case of litigation between the parties to a contract involving GRIFFE and concerning these terms and conditions, any legal measure undertaken by either party shall be brought before a competent tribunal in the district of Montréal.
